Jessica von Bredow-Werndl & Dalera Win Geneva CDI5* Grand Prix, Beating German Team Mate Isabell Werth on Emilio

GENEVA, Dec. 6, 2018–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB posted a personal best score to win the CDI5* Grand Prix at the Rolex Grand Slam of Jumping Thursday, beating her German team mate Isabell Werth on Emilio.
Jessica and the 11-year-old Trakehner that she been competing at Big Tour for only nine months and were on Germany’s gold medal team at the Tryon World Equestrian Games, scored 79.217 per cent for the win. The previous best Grand Prix score for the duo was 76.848 per cent at the Aachen, Germany Nations Cup in July.
The 32-year-old Jessica was placed first by four of the five judges, including Germany’s Katrina Katrina Wüst who awarded the pair 80.000 per cent and Stephen Clarke of Great Britain with 81.848 per cent.
The combination began CDI Grand Prix in March and this was the fourth victory in 11 starts.
Jessica is best known for competing Unee BB in four World Cup Finals–placing third at three–as well as on the German bronze medal team at the 2015 European Championships.
Isabell and Emilio scored 77.609 per cent for second place and the 16th start for the pair in 2018.
Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer and Blind Date were third on 71.391 per cent.
