EBREICHSDORF, Austria, April 13, 2019–German team rider Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Zaire-E won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday with a personal best score for a double victory here.

Jessica and the 15-year-old KWPN mare scored 82.250% for the win, that topped the previous best of 80.525% posted a year ago. Jessica and Zaire competed in the young horse division six years ago, moving to Small and Medium Tour before beginning Grand Prix in late 2014.

Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer, making her debut on Fackeltanz, placed second on 76.475% after placing third in the Grand Prix. Fackelntanz was competed at Grand Prix by Stefan Lehfellner of Austria last year and by Dorothee Schneider at Small Tour for two years.

Christian Schumach of Austria and Sinclair Jason were third on 74.925%.
